		<description>Amy,
Contrats!!! Wow! What a great opportunity and what a wonderful goal for your sabbatical.

Guatemala City??? I am in Guatemala City as I write this response!! Part of my sabbatical included a grant to study Spanish and Latin American culture. I arrived here January 7 and will leave March 4. I wish our time could overlap. Where will you study while you are here?

In Guatemala I live with a family in a small town outside Guatemala City. I study at Semilla/CASAS, a seminary and language school associated with the Mennonite Church in Latin America. Eileen, Rachel, Tex and Josiah (15 mo. old) will join me next Wednesday for vacation during my final week.

My blog about Guatemala is at: http://fesgua2009.blogspot.com/

Best wishes,
Floyd</description>
